Marty,
The info is from the family. The Christian Frederick Rupnow birth (April-1812)is found in the area of Schlangenthin, Arnswalde, Pommern.
Christian's son, Wilhelm Fredrich was born
13-May-1830.(I made a note after his birth
Jagow-Stettin) I don't have the date of their immigration, but they were married in Wis. in in 1874.
Aug.-1874.
My map is not good and I cannot tell you how close Marienwalde and Arnswalde are to one another.

In the IGI the Rupnow name is listed under Rubnow. I have not looked at this for a long time.
