My Grandfather came to America in About 1887-1889. he supposedly came with a brother who became ill and had to return to Germany. Herman's name was FICK in Germany after becoming a citizen he changed it to VICK.
He was born in Montrovia, Germany in 1859.
His parents were Johann Fick and Louisa Weckert. they did not come to America.
Do you know anything about them?
Email as I don't get back to this site very often. Thanks
Betty R
