HI! My gggrandmother was Maria/Mary Ficke
who came from Germany and went directly to
Cincinatti, Ohio. 5 months later she married
George Seitz/Sites. Their first child was
my ggrandmother Emma G. Sites, born Ohio,
and next had David George Sites born in Knox
County Missouri. GGrandmother came west to
North Dakota with her husband, so did her
brother David George and they homesteaded in
Emmons County North Dakota. They left 2
little sisters and their mother in Knox
County Missouri. I am trying to see what
became of them - because I know lots about
the families that came west. Keep in touch
maybe we can sort it all out!
