Thanks ever so much. I'll check out the publishing company holdings and am currently viewing books on the Meador line I ordered from the LDS church. After I finish with them, I'll order the Fickes books. In Nelson County Ky there is and was a large German community. Distilleries abound there. I don't know the history of the migration there, but many of my ancestors on several sides ended up there from PA, notably the Hay and Fickes families.
