Chester was the name of my husbands' father. Norman has very little information on his father. He knows his name was Chester, he was married to Lillian Schmidt and Norman was born in Washington state in 1935. Chester disappeared from Normans' life around 1941-42 through divorce. Chester worked as a lumberjack in Washington and Oregon. How he came to the area or where he went after, we aren't sure. Normans' mother did not want to talk about him and Norman was too young to remember very much. He does think he remembers hearing he went to Ohio. I have some pictures, but no letters or any other info. This may not be the same person or the same branch, but it would mean a great deal to find out anything. Norman is chronically ill and has been for the last 5 years. His mother passed away 25 years ago and he has no other family.
