LARRY -
The source document is a privately typed notebook which has been reproduced by the Maine Historical Society in Portland. It is about 300 typed pages and titled "The Fickett Family". There is no index and it is quite hard to follow. It also has lesser sections covering Pennell, Strout, Brackett, Welch, York, Wallace, Walker, Abbott, & Ward families. It was written by a Linwood P. Fickett of Portland (written in after his name is "d. 1954").
I certainly can't vouch for the accuracy of the document but obviously a lot of time went into it. My primary research is in the Strout Family but there are many cross-connects with the Fickett Family, particularly in Washington County!
Sincerely,
Tom Morse
