Larry -
Again, not verified info, the following from notebook I previously cited:
"Ezekiel (Zachariah) FICKETT was born in Scarboro about 1775 and moved to Harrington when a young man and married Fanny DINSMORE, a descendant of the Scotch Irish settlers of New Hampshire. In 1840 he moved to Brewer, Maine. He was a farmer all his life. He had three sons and several daughters, the daughters have not been traced. The sons were:
Asa FICKETT, died when a young man.
William FICKETT, moved with his family to California years ago.
Amos G. FICKETT, born in Harrington, 15 JUL 1806, died 9 OCT 1875. He was a shipwright all his life; he came to Brewer in 1840 with his father".
__________
I have copied a number of pages from this notebook; if you send me a snailmail address I'll make copies and forward them to you. My E-mail address <tomorse@acadia.net>
Sincerely,
Tom
