Timothy, this is what I have concerning their marriage:
17 December 1804: marriage of Isaac MEDLEN and Sarah FIERS, dau. of John FIERS. Sur. Thomas ROWLAND. Wit. Thomas CHAPPELL and Robert CHAPPELL. p. 116, in Marriages of Sussex County, Virginia 1754-1810. by Catherine L. Knorr 1952.

Sarah FIERS(1783), was the d/o John FIERS(1762), who was the s/o William FIERS(ca. 1740). In 1805, John FIERS left Sussex Co., VA and moved to Greene Co., OH. I'm not sure where or when Wm., Sr. died. Either Wm. or his son Wm., Jr. was in Nansemond Co., VA in 1784 and in Southampton Co., VA in 1787.
