Have you traced your FIERS line back to the early 1700s? If so, have you seen a William FIERS who disappears between 1700-1740? Maybe he left Belgium and came to America at that time. We American FIERS descendants can't seem to get back farther than 1760 in Sussex Co., Virginia. I wish we could get across the ocean..... Mary
