Hi Janet

Just thinking about all of the names from each family member, they are all similar. Not sure if thats just with everyone Italian family, but never the less check out the names I have on my side. Louis Angelo, his birth name was LeoLuca on his naturalization papers it shows the legal change. Then my great Aunts, Bernarda, Josephine, Mary, Lucia, Giovanna.
There were 5 girls and one boy. The boy is my great grandfather Louis. I have about four Nicks that I have found. In research I show that a lot of times they will name there children after a parent or sibling. This might help us get closer to Angelo's parents. I know the following names were with our family in Italy they are intertwined in one way or another. Loke at them and see if you remember any information that we can connect.
Governale, Ringo (Ringa) capaci, fratello, Rizzota, Dragna, Bonnano,Coniglio, Contreda, cuccio, there are more but off the top of my head here are a few..

Let me know and I will help connect.. Janet, my grandfather was Louis Angelo Figaro, he was race car driver for NASCAR he won a winston in 1951 and drove a hudson #33 most of the time, In 1954 Louis was killed in a race in N.C. His body was shipped back to Los Angeles California, and it is recorded as on of the biggest funerals in huntington Park Calif. He was buried at Calvery in east L.A where everyone else who is Italian is buried. A few years ago I inherited a box of my grandmothers belongings. One of the Items was the funeral book. I have names after names with signiture, because they signed the book. From mother, brother, sister, father, all the way to aunts, uncle, cousins. I even have the original signiture of some of the Mafia... It states Family member. I will look for this box and when I find it I will share it with you. Get as many names as you can, I guarentee it will connect in one way or another.
