James,

Try Berkeley Co, Va. James was the s/o John Figg Sr & his
#1 wife an Irish lady. John Figg Sr m #2 Elizabeth Mitchell
Berkeley Co, Va. All Figgs in Ky that I know of descends
from John Sr & his 2 wives- 14 children. I have 3 lines to
John & Elizabeth Mitchell Figg (she d/o Wm & Elizabeth
Mitchell; b MD, d 1852 LaRue Co, KY).

Researchers can't find name of #1 wife; many records of
John pre-Berkeley Co.

"Figg Leaves" by Eulah Richardson Hasskarl & Don Matson,
1982 is very good. Has censuses, mgs, deaths, cem rec'd,
will/probates, etc to document. All data stops in
Berkeley Co, Va. If there is further data- I don't know
about it.

If you connect- email me privately & I will gladly share.

Mary
