Found 1992 IGI microfiche at an area Library a month or so ago. In it there is a Benjamin and Mary Figg pts of James b 13 Mar 1786 Surry, Albemarle, Va. I don't have resources here to check to see if this is right. Use only as a guide. Posted a message to your query on Ancestry.com today.

IGI has Ann Figg, d/o John Figg/Izabel, b 1 Sep 1665 York, Charles Parish, Va. Others: Frances, d/o John Figg/Elizabeth 9 Nov 1691, Istabel b 2 Sep 1695, John Figg s/o John & Izabel b 12 Mar 1666.
My 4th GGf John Figg,Sr(had son John Jr) b 1740-1750, m #1 an Irish Lady; m #2 Elizabeth Mitchell 1792 Berkeley Co, Va, d Dec 1839-Jan 1840 Nelson Co, Ky. Elizabeth d 1852 LaRue Co, Ky (lived with dau Milly Figg Essex Baird (my 3rd GGm). Know sons Seeli b 4 Apr 1776 (IGI says Wythe Co, Va, dec Don Matson says Berkeley Va); William m Mary Taylor (IGI says m Frederick, Va 15 Jan 1791 with relative John D. Airmet, son James b 19 Mar 1796 Wythe Co, Va; do know he d Shelby Co, Ky); James m Elizabeth Taylor & both d Shelby Co, Ky. Ch of John Figg, Sr and #2 Elizabeth Mitchell married Nelson Co, Ky, ch of 2nd marrige named in will with 2/3 from #1 marriage listed also. I have a triple line to John Sr and Elizabeth Mitchell. Their oldest dau Nancy Ann Figg married Joseph Medcalf. Their youngest Dau m Joseph Essex, Jr. John Wesley Essex, only child of Joseph & Milly, married Nancy Ann Medcalf (d/o Joseph & Nancy Figg Medcalf) his 1st cousin (paternal grandfather's grandparents). Elizabeth Medcalf (also d/o Joseph and Nancy Ann Figg Medcalf) married Benedict Jenkins (my paternal Grandmother's grandparents). According to relationship chart on Medcalf family (from 1650 St Marys Co, Md) my Grandparents were 2nd cousins in the Medcalf line.
Will be glad to send you the Figg/Fagg family IGI file if you would like it. I do not have the resources to check it. Can't find anything on the rootsweb.com search engines there or the Wythe Co Website.
