I have found out some more on Walter, I found a copy of his obituary in the microfilm files of the Courier Journal.

Walter died on February 6, 1961, I did find where he is buried but unfortunatly there has never been a headstone placed. Also I found out that his brohter Lafayette is buried right next to him.

The obit. states:

WALTER L. FIGG

Walter L. Figg, 70, of 116 N. Clifton, a retired textile worker, died at 12:45 p.m. Monday at St. Anthony Hospital. The Louisville native spent most of his life in Little Falls, N.Y., returning here about four months ago.

Survivors include a son, Charles Edward Figg, and two brothers, John and Lafayette Figg.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Neurath Funeral Home, 725 E. Market. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

If anyone knows anything about Walter while he was living in New York please let me know.

Thanks
