My grandfather was Lorenzo Figueras from Spain. He was a merchant seaman and traved the world 100 times over.We were very close and he would visit us when we lived in Brooklyn in the 1970's and I was a little girl.He had a gold tooth as many european men did in his time and a tatoo on his upper forearm
He spoke french as well as english and spanish and was a cook on the ship.He was a small man and physically fit.He was married twice and lived in California with his 2nd wife.
I dont know if he was married to my grandmother or not at the time but my grandfather was in England when he was in the merchant marines and met a woman there and had a child together,a little girl. She might be about 40-60yrs old now Im not certain but if anyone has any information about her we would like to hear from you.thankyou.
