Hello, I am Erick Figueras, from N.Y., my father is Miguel Figueras, his father was Miguel Figueras, his father was Leonardo Figueras, his father was Jose Figueras. It is belived that Leonardo was a Spanish soldier assigned in Puerto Rico.It is however difficult to trace back any further due to the Spanish tradition of writing the mothers name last.If you are reading this outside of the U.S.A., we do not use our mothers last name for the most part in the states.I know that my great uncle, Antonio lived for a time in N.Y. In the late 50's or 60's, he moved to California with his wife. I belive he also had a son named Antonio(Tony). Any info?
