Robert E. Fike was living in Colby KS in 1907 where he was a member of the Masonic Lodge. I have no info on who he married or when. How many children did they have, and when and where were they born? What was Robert's middle name? His father, William, was born in PA in 1829 or 1830, and died in 1911 in Colby of blood poisoning. He was a farmer and a cabinet maker. William married Mary, daughter of William and Hannah (Townshend or Thompson) Harmon in 1854 in Carroll Co. IL. Mary was born in 1836 and died in 1908 in Colby of apoplexy. They moved to Blackhawk Co. Iowa in 1856, to Saline Co. NE in 1871, and to Thomas Co. KS in 1889. They had 10 children, with three dieing in infancy. The remaining seven were all living in 1935, the year son George died. Besides George, the others were: James (my great-grandfather), Pheobe, Anna, Nora, May, and Robert. I have a picture of them all together for William and Mary's 50th anniversery. If you are interested, I have info on the descendents of George and James. I will appreciate any info on Robert you can provide. Thank you.
