Pvt. A. J. Files, Company D, 26th Alabama Infantry

I am looking for any additional biographical info on the above man. This is all I have on him. Company D was recruited mainly out of Fayette County, Alabama.

A. J. Files
Enlisted October 8, 1863 and present at Andersonville.

Did he survive the War? Was he wounded? When and where did he die? When and where was he born? Is there is a photo out there of him? What does the initials mean? Any info would be great.
