I know its five years later, but if anyone is interested I have available the entire Files Family Manuscript, including Eleanor's lineage, as compiled by Eleanor. At least I believe it is the entire manuscript, but the pages are not numbered, as was previously mentioned, so I can't be sure. But, it came directly from her, as the first posting was correct in that she left a number of complete copies for relatives. So, if anything is missing from this copy I am fairly confident that it does not exist.
Yes, her father was Leonard Lemont Files. By the way Eleanor's lineage is as follows:
- William Files, married to Joanna More
- Samuel Files, married Easter Thomes
- Ebenezer Scott Thomes Files, married to Patience Phinney
- Joseph Phinney Files, married to Eleanor Roberts
- Leonard Lemont Files, married to Henrietta Sophia Allen
- Eleanor May Files, married to Eric Cyrus Patch
