I replied directly by email but thought perhaps I should post a reply here as well, in case the email didn't go through.

I am not a descendant. Bessie (McRae) Files was a sixth cousin three times removed. I am tracing the Mitchells of Georgia, from whom she descends.

Where did you get the name Emma? I don't believe I'd seen that anywhere. The border crossing records between Mexico and the U.S. show that Coralie Stuart Davis crossed with her daughter and son, "Coralie Cook Honey" and Richard E. Honey. One of them also said Coralie Honey was the sister of John Honey.

I'm curious about their descendants.
Did Robert Files & Bessie have any other children besides Coralie? (One researcher wrote her name Carolie, another as Coral Lee.) Do you know if John R. Davis & his brother had children?
