Files Family from AL

My neice married a Files of MS. I am trying to put their line in my FTM for her children. His father was James Arlie Files,Sr. and his ancestors going backward in time were:
Arlie Jackson Files and Margaret Cross
George Jackson Files and Susie Wilson
william manley Files and Georgiana C. Stacks
Jeremiah Franklin Files & Mary Lockhart
Jeremiah Files

They were in AL until migrating to OK in early 1900's.

My information comes from her husband Jim (don't know his source, but he has dabbled on the LDS site), Ancestry census data and the posted information of others. This is to say that I can be certain of none of this.

Does this sound like it connects to the Rev. War John Files or any other that you know of? John's line is probably well documented, but I have not found it.

Thanks for any help and I will be glad to share anything that I have with you.

Betty Ramsey
