Joanna Files b. 3-7-1792, m. Peter Wardwell of Otisfield, 1813. Esther Files, b. 6-23-1795, m. Johnathan Wardwell of Otisfield, 1816.

Joanna and Esther were the daughters of Ebenezer (2-24-1758) and Molly (Elder) Files of West Gorham, Maine. p. April 8, 1780. They are the desendents of "William, the old Ranger."
