In my JOY Family Bible are the names NANCY FILES and MARGARET FOYLES. In the list of people who purchased things at the Feb 1840 estate sale of John Joy appear the names of Joseph Files, Elizabeth, and John Files.

I have no idea who these people are or how any of these people are related to my JOY family.

In the list of marriages in Cabell Co WV (which is just across the river from where my family lived in Athalia Ohio) is a marriage of Joseph Files and Hannah Ansel 5 March 1835.

I would love your help in solving this mystery.
