Hello,

it was quite a surprise to read about somebody with the name Fillbach who has descendants in Hahnstätten/Germany!
My mother´s mother was born Fillbach from Hahnstätten. The "original" Fillbach-house in Hahnstätten was taken down some 20 years ago.
In the mid-1960s (1967) somebody (Kelly) from Madison/Wi was interested in the Fillbach family from Hahnstätten and their family history. At this time nobody was interested in family history. This changed quite a bit. During the last years many church records were transscribed and computerised. I am also interested in the Fillbach line, but the church records of Hahnstätten (going back to about 1650) were not analysed yet, because the local church was very reluctant.
Hahnstätten, Oberneisen and Burgschwalbach belong to the same "church community" located some 5 mile south of Limburg and 25 miles noth of Wiesbaden.
I hope to have some more info for you soon.
