Hello! I just checked the German phone book of the German Telekom. There is no Philbach listed (any more). The spelling in Germany today is Fillbach. In the Netherland you also find the spelling Filbach and Villbach (also in Estonia). My mother has some correspondence according to which the Fillbachs in the Netherlands (Den Haag and Leeuwaarden) originally came from Hahnstätten in Germany. The name Andy (German version: Andreas) was/is not common among the Fillbachs in Hahnstätten. There is however, a Andrea Fillbach lives in Wiesbaden. Names in Germany are often used continuously in many generations.
