TracyLynn,

Mary had sent me an offline e-mail concerning your quest for a relationship of a Jacob Filsinger and Maria Bender.
I am nearing completion of a book on the lefe and descendants of Adam Filsinger of Syracuse, NY and who had a brother Andrew Jacob per the Tairnbach church records. He died in Iowa but very little is known about him and his travels between leaving Syracuse and his death and burial in Hamburg, Iowa in 1905. I have never followed up on that gap.

It does not appear at the moment that there is any relationship except that when we go back far enough in history that our Filsinger are related, but not in the immediate late 1800s to early 1900s.
Albert
