Thanks Tim, I believed we talked once before. I know my Finan had to have come before 1850 and I know my Thomas H Carroll had to have come before that too. My Thomas H Carroll married Anna Murphy and settled in NYC, NY where he had at least one child Catherine A Carroll b abt. 1850. I believe he also had a son Thomas, but I am not positive on that one. Catherine ended up in Henderson Co., KY without her father and mother. She married in 1866. I believe it mite have been a pre-arranged marriage and her husband was 52 in 1870. My John Finan is a mystery though. I saw one with a Patrick Finan and a Honora in PA. So I am curious. That was in 1850 Census. Anyways, I thought I would ask. Take care.
