Clarence L. Fincher
Clarence Luther Fincher, 72, of LaGrange, died Thursday (19 Dec 2002).
Mr. Fincher, born April 9, 1930, in Randolph County, Ala., was the son of the late Dewey and Lauzie Johnson Fincher. He served in the United States Air Force, during the Korean Conflict.
In 1986, he opened LaGrange Honda and owned several car dealerships in the New Jersey area. He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Geraldine Thompson of LaGrange; four brothers, Clyde Fincher of Fayetteville, Handley Fincher of Morganton, N.C., Johnnny Fincher of Fayetteville, and Jimmy Fincher of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Earline Fincher; and two sisters, Erma Vollenweider and Lorene Hobbs.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 2002 in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with the Rev. Charles Chapman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Shadowlawn Mausoleum.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
