I also have some hard to find Finegan's.

After reading your posting, I immediately thought that Willie "Clark" Finegan sounds like two surenames? I've often see the wife's maiden name listed as you have listed Willies name.

Did you try the Roscommon web page?

Did you try the 1881/1891 British Census? Willie may be listed.

Willie's marriage record should tell you who his father is. His parents may also be listed on Willie's death certificate.

I'm only making these suggestions because you did not mention where you looked for Willie.
