Looking for information on Henry FINGER born July 12, 1842 in Baltimore, MD according to Civil War pension papers I was recently given. He was living in Bronx,(NYC), NY when he enlisted and lived there for the rest of his life. He was a butcher before entering the military and after. He served from August 1862 to May 1865. He had at least two sons, Henry Jr and Fredrick William or William Fredrick. Fredrick married Catherine Mack and they had nine sons. Seven survived to adulthood. Any information would be appreciated. This is a new surname for me and I have recently discovered relatives in NYC.
