The estate ettlement was for Andrew Haynes, Mary s. Haynes Finger's father and was in Madison Co., Tennessee. No copies are available.

In about 2003 a box was found in the courthouse basement with bits and pieces of papers. It was finally settle in 1893 once all that could be traced were & the last 213 acres of land sold on the courthouse steps. Very sad.

I'm looking for any information on the children. I've the 1870 Census when Mary must be dead, and Lydia Finger is living with Andrew J. and his children, then again in 1880 in Hardin Co., when Andrew had remarried to someone named Emma C.

After that, nothing. Our interest is of course, Haynes. But all of these children had half their blood from Mary & I so hate loosing track of them.
