Info found on: Chas G. & Mary FINGER family, Fairbanks, Alaska 1930 census

This is not my family. A request was placed for obituaries on Waldo FINGER and Theodore FINGER who both died in Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon. I didn't find any obituary for either Waldo FINGER or Theodore FINGER. According to the information I found in death and funeral notices, it lead me to the 1930 Alaska Territory census and the parents of these two boys were Charles G. and Mary FINGER. This information was posted to the Genforum Multnomah County, Oregon message board.)

In answer to the request, I found only the following notices in the newspaper. They are as follows:

Microfilm Roll 810, Sept 14-30, 1948, Lake Oswego Public Library, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
The Oregonian, Thursday, Sept. 30, 1948, section 2, page 5, col. 1, Died:
"FINGER--Sept 28, Waldo, in this city, brother of Bill & Ruby Finger, Alaska. Arrangements in care A. J. Rose & Son, SE 6th and Alder."

Microfilm Roll 811, Oct 1-14, 1948, Lake Oswego Public Library, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
The Oregonian, Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1948, section 3, page 5, col. 2, Funeral Notices:
"FINGER--Sept 28, Waldo. Friends invited to attend funeral services Tuesday, 10 am at the Conservatory Chapel of A. J. Rose & Son, SE 6th and Alder. Interment Lincoln Memorial Park."

Microfilm Roll 1111, Mar 16-31, 1961, Lake Oswego Public Library, Lake Oswego, Oregon.
The Oregonian, Friday, March 24, 1961, section 2, page 6, col. 2, Death Notices:
"FINGER--March 23, Theodore. DAVY SUNNYSIDE FUNERAL HOME Directors."

I checked the following available Polk's Portland City Directories and didn't find any listing of either Waldo FINGER or Theodore FINGER: 1941, 1955, 1960.

I checked the census records for 1930, on Ancestry Plus electronic database. Based on the information in Waldo FINGER's death notice, he had a brother in Alaska. I found the family group, parents and sons, in Fairbanks, Alaska Territory, E.D. 4-1, sheet 1A, stamped number was 192, lines 6-10. Here is only "some" of the information on the census record:
FINGER, Chas, G., head, age 66, born in Ill.
FINGER, Mary, wife, age 65, born in Germany.
FINGER, Waldo R., son, age 33, single, born in Washington.
FINGER, Carl G., son, age 26, single, born in Canada.
FINGER, Theodore W., son, age 24, single, born in Canada.

(Research note: Waldo's death notice said he had a brother named Bill. According to the 1930 census Theodore's middle initial was "W." If his middle name was William, his family may have called him Bill.)
