Boyce Lee Finger and Wife Ethel
Posted by: Tabitha Ross (ID *****6141) Date: March 20, 2011 at 17:02:12

I'm looking into my African-American / Native American roots.

My father's mother is Mildred Finger Dennis (living).

Mildred's father's name was Boyce Lee Finger, part Blackfoot Indian.

According to my father, Boyce Lee married a woman named Ethel, who was at least part Cherokee Indian.

Boyce Lee was born on Christmas Day 1902. He died in July of 1975 in Philadelphia, PA.

Ethel was born on 5 February 1903 and died in the same month 1979. (If my sources are correct).

Besides my grandmother, Mildred, there were also other children, most of whom are now deceased: James, Anthony, Edna, Dorothy, Dolores, Antoinette, Erie, Pamela, etc.

If any of this is familiar to you, please reply :D thx!
