I read your post and was struck by a coincidence. My great grandfather, James Fingleton, married Annie Doyle around 1875 and lived in Laois. I realize your direct ancestors emigrated long before then, but it was interesting to see how often the Fingletons and Doyle intermarried. James and Annie had 10 childre, including my grandmother, Margaret. I am trying to find out what happened to Margaret's siblings as she died in 1918.
