And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know´.A devoted and faithful member of the Bethlehem Christian Reformed Church, Mrs.Jennigje Prenger (nee Finke) died peacefully July 8, 2002, in her home. Jenny is now with her Lord in Heaven. Born on March 1, 1907 in Vorwald, Germany. She was married August 30, 1929 to Herman Prenger. On August 30, 2002 they would have celebrated their 73rd Wedding Anniversary. Jenny is survived by her husband Herman, by all of her six children, Henry (Tina), Herman (Alice), Rika (Ron Perrier), Martin (Madeline), Margaret (Jim Hurdon) and Jenny (Carl Taylor), by two sisters, Mina Wagter, Hendrika Buitenhuis, and sister-in-law Abbey Finke, by thirty-one grandchildren, fifty great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews both here and in Holland and by her loving care-giver and live-in nanny, Felicidad. Predeceased by her parents Maria Mink and Hermannes Finke, sisters Berendina Rosenboom and Margaret Spengen and brothers Frederick Finke, Hendrik Jan Finke, and Hendrikus Finke. Visitation and prayers for family and friends Wednesday, July 10, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the First Christian Reformed Church located on Cooper Road off Arthur Street. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 11, at 1:30 p.m. also at the First Christian Reformed Church. Interment in Stanley Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of your choice.A tree will be planted in memory of Jennigje Prenger in the Blake Funeral Chapel Memorial Grove.
