Hello, I just came across your info about the Finlay family. In your email you mention a book about this family. I would love to get a copy of this book if possible. Some of the names and dates you list match with my family.
My great grandfather, Alexander Ferguson, married Mary Fermer Finlay from Scotland. Her father was James (1816-1892. I know James and wife Agnes Blyhe Kay went to Waldrup, Texas, and are buried there (husband and I found cemetery). I have always wondered why they went to Texas at their age but recently realized they had two sons living there - Robert and John.
I would be very interested in any and all information you could give me - will be glad to pay for copies or postage or whatever to have information on this line.
Thanks in advance,
Judy in Baltimore, MD
