Hi Mark,

My Finlay Family left Ireland for Australia a lot later than that of Nancy's.

Were is Carnmoney? Is it in County Antrim?

The Finlay that I am looking for is John Finlay born abt 1812 in Antrim, he married Eliza Taylor in about 1834. They had 4 known children John Taylor Finlay, James Palmer Finlay, William Taylor Finlay and Mary Jane Finlay.

Do you know much about your Grandfather or his parents - this information would be of great interest to me as not all of the family imigrated to Australia.

Was your Grandfather Presbyterian by religion?

Please contact me as I may be able to help you find out more about your family if you can find out just a little for me to try and match up.
