Researching the family name Finlay. My great great grandfather William John Finlay married Jane/Jeanette/Jenny Jamison 23 August 1846 in the Parish Church, Ballynure. His father was John Finlay.
William John Finlay is listed in the Griffiths Valuation, Parish of Ballynure, Ballybracken, leasing his land from his father, who in turn was leasing from Edward Bruce.
He was born c.1819 and died 17 June 1870.
There were 9 children born: John, Samuel, Elizabeth, Mary Jane, Martha Anna, William James, Sarah, Isabella, and Arthur Hill. Would enjoy hearing from anyone that is researching this family.
