Dear Judith I noticed in your message that you have a Taylor connection from Antrim. I could be grasping at straws but it never hurts to ask. I have Finlay connection through my Taylor, Baird and Gibson line who came from area of County Down Northern Ireland and surrounding. There is still a lot I do not know of my Taylor family. I do know that my GGGrandfather was James Taylor and at the time of his son's marriage on the 26th July 1889 they lived on a farm in Ballyvester, Donaghadee CD NI. RobertTaylor married a Jane Baird.

Some family names: Taylor, Baird,Beard, Bitcon, Cooke, McWhinney, Finlay, Pritchard, Armstrong, McWha, Tweedie, Bennett, Walker, Gibson, McMeekin.

Some names that run through: James, Robert, Thomas, John, William, Eliza, Jane, Ann, Elizabeth.

What do you think?

I would genuinely love to hear your ideas.

Sincerely Shirley..
