Tom:I am trying to find a birth record for my gggrandfather, born ireland, but married in Renfrew Scotland in 1820. I know he was born about 1800,in Ireland. There is a birth record on familysearch for a David Finlay b. Newtowngore, co. Leitrim, abt.1800, and that town is very close to Cavan. I have the Lietrim Genealogy Centre working for me, and they have given me some clues and are digging for more. dave F.
