I know that my great grandfather and grandfather and his brothers and sister originate from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. My Great Grandfather was named John, often called Jack. He and his wife ran a pub on Scotswood road. My grandfather was named Joseph, now deceased, and his one brother is called Norman, now still living in the Newcastle area. They also had a sister called Rosa and another brother called George (I think!) and possibly another brother. Is this of any any use? If so I would be interested to hear what information you have found and would be glad to try and fill you in on more information that I can obtain from my great uncle and my dad. I also know of a Scottish artist working in Newcastle called Alec Finlay.
