Hello,

I cannot help you with your specific query but wondered if you have any research to show we may possibly have a connection.
I have a Mary Finlay daughter of William Finlay.

*DAVID CRAWFORD: m1. 23rd Feb, 1860 at Parkgate, in the parish of Donegore, Antrim, to MARY FINLAY: (?1836-1860) Father WILLIAM FINLAY: of Donegore, Antim, Ireland. (Individual Record: Batch Number. 7404604 sheet 7 Source 0934344) & (Batch Number A537798 Source Call No 537796-7-8 & 537801) Copy of marriage certificate.

** Mary died on board the ship Escort, 28th Dec 1860 following birth of a daughter Mary - from "haemorrhage after confinement." Certificate of Mary's death.

My research has come to a stop. My research is mainly along the Crawford line. http://www.webace.com.au/~tblack It is quite a difficult to research in Northern Ireland when researching from afar.

Good luck in your research.
Best wishes,
Dianne
from Perth in Western Australia.
