Dear Judith I have just read your message and researching my family. My family Robert Taylor (do not know his family, parents and siblings or where they come from). Do know that he and his wife Jane Baird had a farm in Gransha, Bangor Newtownards County Down Northern Ireland. I do have a William Finlay Baird his parents were John Baird and Susanna Gibson. Susanna was the daughter of a Thomas Gibson and Margaret Alenn? Bitcon from around same area. This family lived around Millisle Ballycopeland Donaghadee Northern Ireland. We do have family in Belfast. I am still gathering information but names connected are Taylor, Baird / Beard (two different families), Gibson, Lowry, Tweedie, plus others. Does any of this information sound familiar to you? Look forward to your response. Sincerely Shirley. Forgot to mention that the eldest daughter of Robert Taylor and jane Baird was Eliza Jane Taylor, she married a Hugh Baird from Grey Abbey.
