Finley family or Finlay

I'm lucky enough to have people I know living in Ireland and have forward to me the message board for Finlay. I live near Boston, Massachussetts USA and have recently found out the name of my Mother's Birth mother. Her name is listed as Anna Finley on my mom's adoption papers. My mom was born on April 7, 1926 in Boston and given up for adoption by Anna Finley. There is no mention of a father of the baby, but I did find out she was probably a twin. I have an adoption agency looking up the life of Anna Finley and I hope to find she had a good long life. My journey started 4 years ago and I have come to alot of brick walls but one day last year brought me to get to view my mom's adoptive records and now I'm not letting go. I think she came from Belfast. I have seen records in the ellis island web and it does list an Anna Finley coming to america in 1907 at the age of 26yrs and single from Belfast to Boston on the ship called the Arabic which was sunk by a uboat around 1915. I don't know if this is my biological grandmother, but would appreciate any info regarding an Anna Finley from Belfast. Thanks for the patients in reading this.
mia
