George Fischer from Hamburg to England

I am looking for information on GEORGE GOTTFRIED BENJAMIN FISCHER who was born about 1815 in Hamburg, Germany; died 28 September 1882 in Croydon, Surrey, England. In March 1841 he married Christian Campbell Martin (born 1820 in Gottingen, Germany; died 19 October 1874 in Croydon. Her father, Robert Martin, was a Scot living in Germany; her mother was German. According to the 1871 and 1881 English Censuses, George was an export merchant. I have quite a lot of information on Christian's ancestry but absolutely nothing on George Fischer other than what I mentioned above. Their daughter, Christine Fischer, married William Locock Webb, a London stockbroker. Any help in locating George Fischer would be greatly appreciated - thank you, Bronwen
