I found a possible match. I guess you will need to find more to verify it,but here it is.
Carl Fischer 22 years old arrived in New York on October 10, 1925. Port of Departure was Rotterdam, Netherlands on the Ship Rijndam. He was born in Germany. His last residence was Rheydt, Germany. His father is Carl Fischer of 493 Dahlenerstr. Rheydt, Germany. His destination was Webster Missouri.

There is a Carl Fischer 28 years old living in Shrewsbury, St. Louis, Missouri in 1930 Census as a boarder with Edward Longhibler family who immigrated in 1925. He is working as a fruit produce clerk.

I also found two Carl Fischer's in the Social Security death index that are close on the dates. One was born June 27, 1903 and died February 1973 his last residence was St. Louis, Missouri. The other one was born April 19, 1903 and died July 1975 his last residence was Hermann, Gasconade, Missouri. It still possible neither of these are your Carl Fischer. I believe they only list people in the SS Death index if they issued a final check to a beneficiary at the last known residence, so if his wife died before him he wouldn't be in the index.

I hope this helps you find him. My great great grandfather was Carl Fischer from Wurttemburg, Germany and he arrive sometime in the early 1870's. I am still trying to find his ship. I have been looking for years.
