I begin with Raimund / Raymond of Wurttenburg Germany b. 1836 and Anna Louisa Fischer nee Schwarts of Switzerland b. 1835.

Came to america pre-Civil war as Raymond was a soldier in 12th Reg. Co " B" Missouri Volunteers (Infantry) served under General Ostershaus and Captain Frederick T. Ledergerber also of St. Louis.

Raymond and Anna had 6 kids, John, Emma, Bertha, Annie and Louise Anna my Paternal great grandmother.

Louisa Anna married my Great Grandfather Johann Adolphess Bolhofner.

John the brother married Mary White of Wisconsin and had eight children. Elizabeth, Jennie, Hattie, Mary , John, Joseph, William and Nellie Fisher. the name changed spelling from the German Fischer to Fisher after Raymond.

If anyone is interested in the Fischer / Fisher's of St.Louis Missouri. Cnowotny@msn.com
