UK Fishers and online databases
I participate in the Rootsweb Fisher discussion board nad there was a lot of chat about possibly splitting the board into US and UK Fishers. In the end we did not do thta, but did come up with the idea of putting UK in the subject line if the Fishers you are researching are in the UK.
Another issue that came up was sharing of our information. There is Rootsweb Genconnect andanother site I had not heard of called Gencircle.Take a look...it's free:

Final thought is that each of us collects Fisher records that are not ours.I started putting mine in a database called ALLFISHER so that if I needed information on that person in the future, I did not need to start from scratch.I have uploaded my records to see if we are long lost cousins.Recommend we all do it at Gencircles or Genconnect. It all helps out.
