Hello Judy,

Well, I've had troubles of my own, so I understand. I got a virus in my puter and spent a month getting rid of it and decided to upgrade a little in the process. I had to completely reformat my HD and lost a lot of info in Family Tree Maker. The woes of not backing up regularly. I had 870 people in my database. At the moment I have 615 restored. GEEZ! Never again!

Anyway...good to hear from you. Another distant cousin has sent me a transcribed copy of Charlotte Fishinghawk Hogner's Miller App #1244. She states her Cherokee Name as "Sar-lah-dah". Her parents she lists as "Fish Hawk" or Car-nu-ja-wah" and "Annie Ska-quah" or "Aunie Ska-quah". She was looking for a BEAR connection to my line and found it when we connected Yoh-nah(Bear). All of Car-nu-ja-wah's children should be a Fish Hawk. Some of Yoh-nah's children took the name of Bear, some didn't. If you need more of this info let me know. I, too, am back on the trail!

Thanks so much for the info you gave me. It has been a door-opener. The brick wall has began to crumble thanks to you and Catherine! Send that stuff PLEASE!!
