I have the marriage of Edmund and Ann on file, but nothing on their origins.
However, I do have quite a bit more about the family, including (in my files since 1974 and almost forgotten) a photocopy of the will of the son Edward.
This is interesting on several counts. I don't have a detailed transcript, and it's too big for my scanner, but here are the notes I made all those years ago.
INDEX (Kendal Deanery)
Edward Fishwick, Heysham
Exec. Elizabeth Fishwick (widow)
Inventory: under £2,000
Notes from the will itself:
Edward Fishwick married Elizabeth Carter
Was son of Edward Fishwick, Limborner [sic] of Nether Kellet
Had sisters: Margret marr. Walker
Easter [sic] marr. White
Catran [sic] marr. Heyes
Betty marr. Fairclough
Ann marr. Tenpeney
You'll see that his father is called Edward, not Edmund - a very common scribal and transcription variant - and was a Lime-burner ("limborner"). There are also three more daughters to add to your list. I guess that "Easter" probably should be Esther, and "Catran" probably Catherine. Elizabeth was apparently known in the family as Betty.
How do you descend from this family?
