My grandfather was James Fishwick, son of Rowland and Hannah (Negus) Fishwick. They immigrated to Norwalk OH in 1909. My father Albert and their last son George were born there. Roland was born in 1847 in England and died 26 June 1927 in Detroit, MI. Roland and Hannah had the following children: James(Sarah Ann Haselock), Joseph(Frances), Oliver(Elizabeth Gasgrin), Edmund(Ted)(Gertrude Bramhill), Rowland(Sara Ann Sutton), Lydia (James Neatby),Hannah (Thomas Bramhill)William(Willie)(amelia Hanson)
Edmund died when the Empress of Ireland sunk in 1914 going from Detroit to England. the last address I have for my grandparents in England was in 1903. They were at 235 Coleridge Road, Sheffield, Attercliffe. James Fishwick was born 29 March 1872 at Garibaldi Street, Manchester. James had the following children:John/Florence/Elsie/Lydia/James/Edmund & Fanny (twins)/Oliver/Gertrude and Albert & George in USA. I am the oldest daughter of Albert who died in 2003 at the age of 91. He was the last of the siblings. We are traveling to England the last two weeks of June 2003.
